About the position

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities aligned with stock trends, campaign cycles, and production needs
• Maintain supplier relationships and conduct quarterly performance reviews
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Monitor cost-saving initiatives including rebates, settlement terms, and courier efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, import documentation, and warehouse processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, finance, and production teams

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years procurement experience
• Grade 12 required; tertiary qualification in procurement is advantageous
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Syspro preferred), Excel, and pivot tables
• Knowledge of raw material categories, commodity pricing, and SARS rebate processes
