About the position
Purpose of the Job:
Interpret Radiology studies in order to inform doctors and patients
Help diagnose patients' illnesses to enable correct treatment
Lead the department staff by guiding them towards an efficient and high quality service
Report Mammography and general radiography studies:
Report on x rays and scans
Perform ultrasounds and other radiological studies
Perform biopsies and other interventional procedures
Prepare images and slides for bi- weekly multidisciplinary meetings
Interact with referring doctors
Paediatric knowledge
Minimum 3 years on the job experience
Medical Degree
Must be registered with HPCSA as a Radiologist
