About the position
Our client within the mining technology space is seeking Radio Frequency Technician/RF Technician with experience in low frequency and medium frequency electronics down to component level. Candidates are required to have a completed Electronical Engineering degree, diploma or similar.
Candidates should have the ability to test, and fault find and repair PCB's and a mic of digital and RF technologies.
Other Requirements Include:
- The ability to interpret and use PCB circuits, BOMs and layout understanding.
- The ability to use RF testing equipment and procedures such as Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Gen, DMM, Attenuators, and Comms Testers.
- One should have knowledge of radio technology, receivers, transmitters, ATUs etc.
- One should have the ability to interact with clients and work with a team.
- One should be passionate about electronics.
- One should be willing to lease with clients during callouts, emergencies and breakdowns.
