Quantity Surveyor

About the position

An exciting international opportunity is available for a Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial construction experience. Our client requires a driven professional to join their team on a remote site in Malaysia for a 12-month fixed-term assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer project commercial functions and cost management processes
• Prepare estimates, payment certificates, and variation assessments
• Monitor project expenditure and assist with financial forecasting
• Manage subcontractor accounts and contractual documentation
• Provide commercial support to site and project management teams
• Ensure accurate reporting and adherence to contractual requirements
• Contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying
• 5-7 years' experience within a commercial quantity surveying environment
• Hotel project exposure will be beneficial
• Strong contractual and commercial management capabilities
• Valid passport and clear criminal record essential
• Ability to travel and work on a rotational basis internationally

Assignment Information:

• Fixed-term contract for 12 months
• Site-based role in Malaysia
• Rotation structure of 6 weeks onsite and 2 weeks off
• Market-related salary between R50k and R70k basic
• Additional daily allowance applicable
