About the position
Our client is recruiting for a Quality Supervisor in the Automotive Manufacturing industry. The successful candidates will be required to travel to Thailand for training and as such will require a valid passport.
JOB PURPOSE: The Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality are met throughout the Production process. This role ensures that all products meet customer requirements, maintain production integrity, and supervises the quality team to effectively complete tasks.
- Relevant Diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
- ISO certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related fields
- Ensure all products conform to approved standards and specifications
- Champion the implementation and monitoring of ITAF standards
- Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances and customer complaints
- Analyze defects and implement remedial actions
- Conduct process audits and resolve discrepancies
- Act as a customer representative for quality issues
- Maintain ISO certification and oversee documentation of quality data
- Coordinate equipment calibration and maintain schedules
- Monitor production adherence and implement improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement quality training programs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- At least 5 years of relevant Quality Assurance Quality Control experience in a supervisory role in Automotive Manufacturing or related fields
TECHNICAL PRE-REQUISITE COMPETENCY:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PolyWorks Faro programs
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods
- Familiarity with safety protocols in manufacturing environments
- Certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ITAF 16949
