Quality Inspector

About the position

This global company is a leader in the manufacturing and engineering industry, specialising in providing innovative solutions to the mining sector. All their products are designed in-house by their dynamic engineering team.

 



We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer with a strong background in manufacturing and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with welding procedures and codes.
• Verify correct assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
• Check for proper alignment, fitting, and installation of parts.
• Ensure that work instructions and procedures are followed during manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Conduct a thorough final inspection of the finished products.
• Confirm that the products meet all quality and safety standards before release.
• Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
• Provide feedback to the engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Quality Management Qualification.
• Welding Inspector certification would be an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Familiarity with ISO and other relevant quality standards.
