Quality Health and Safety Officer

About the position

A quality-focused opportunity in the Midlands for an experienced healthcare professional to oversee health, safety, risk, and compliance processes within a private hospital environment, ensuring high operational and clinical standards are maintained throughout the facility.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Nursing.
• Alternatively, a diploma in Safety/Quality Management, coupled with 5+ years of private healthcare experience, in a similar role.
• 3+ years of practical experience, leading or supervising quality, safety, health, and environmental matters, within a private healthcare environment.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience is advantageous.
• SANC registration required for nursing applicants.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, incident management, and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience working with incident reporting systems, audits, and data analysis.
• Strong report writing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Computer proficiency.
