About the position

Our client in the Food Manufacturing Industry is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Food Technician to join their team in Durban.
Position: Quality Assurance Food Technician

Location: Durban North

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Grade 12
• National Diploma In Quality Assurance/National Diploma In Food Technology
• 2-3 yrs + Experience working in a FMCG/Food manufacturing sector
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act is a must
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System
• Knowledge and experience in Research & Development (R&D)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Exercise strong analytical skills to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Supervise and monitor Quality Control processes
• Monitoring raw materials
• Monitoring work in progress (WIP)
• Monitoring and evaluating the finished product quality
• Implementing and managing the Supplier Quality Assurance Program
• Research and development
