About the position
This role is based in Hammarsdale
An established FMCG manufacturing environment is seeking a Quality and Food Safety Officer to ensure compliance with food safety standards and support continuous improvement across production processes.
This role is suited to a detail focused professional with experience in audits, quality systems and food safety within a manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with HACCP and FSSC 22000 exposure who wants to grow within a structured manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 standards
Oversee quality control processes and product testing
Conduct internal and external audits and inspections
Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions
Review production and supplier quality records
Support process improvement and operational efficiency
Train and guide production staff on food safety practices
Requirements
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG or manufacturing
Strong HACCP knowledge and implementation experience
Exposure to FSSC 22000 and SHEQ systems
Basic understanding of laboratory practices
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Proficient in MS Office
