About the position
Job Summary:
QA Supervisor required to support the QA Manager in implementing and improving the Food Safety and Quality Management System (aligned with FSSC 22000, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations). ?
The incumbent will provide operational oversight for QA and Laboratory functions, ensuring product compliance and promoting a strong food safety culture. ?
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field
- 3-5 years of QA/QC/FSMS experience (seed oil or edible oils experience advantageous)
- Proficiency in FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001, and quality risk management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Experience in FMCG/Manufacturing sector
- Strong analytical, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage customer requirements and prioritize tasks effectively
Responsibilities:
- Food Safety and Quality System Management: maintain and improve the Food Safety and Quality System, ensure documentation is current, and support HACCP activities ?
- Laboratory and Analytical Support: assist in lab workflow, troubleshoot issues, ensure good laboratory practices, and provide training ?
- Supplier and Certification Management: manage supplier evaluations, contract lab testing, and certification compliance (e.g., Halaal, Kosher)
- Audits, Reviews and Traceability: conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and support management reviews
- Quality Monitoring and Data Interpretation: analyse results, prepare reports, and escalate non-conformances
- Non-Conformance Management and Continuous Improvement: lead root cause analysis, close corrective actions, and identify improvement opportunities?
- Training and Communication: deliver internal training, act as a technical liaison, and promote food safety culture
