About the position
QA/QC Officer
JOB PURPOSE
To implement, administer and maintain Quality policies and practices to meet all regulatory, Group, contract and project requirements.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA:
- Effectively ensure contracts comply with all legislated quality requirements
- Effectively ensure the implementation and administration of all required QA/QC standards
- Effectively schedule site and project compliance audits
- Effectively attend Quality Assurance meetings
- Effectively develop and sustain excellent client relationships
- Effectively co-ordinate QA and QC site staff
- Effectively manage site quality control inspections
- Effective self-management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
ISO 9001:2000; System implementation and management; Auditing qualification from
certification bodies or Technikon
at least 7 years' site/system implementation exposure in the construction industry
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Good working knowledge of ISO 9001: 2000
- Good working knowledge of quality control
- Good interpersonal skills
- MS Office
