We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to contribute to their Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of an effective QMS. This position is crucial for ensuring the company's compliance with GMP regulations, leading to streamlined business processes and cost savings. The ideal candidate will foster a strong Quality Assurance culture across the organization and provide necessary guidance.

Qualification / Experience Requirements, but not limited to:

• Qualification: Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant and SAPC registered
• Estimate of 3 - 5 years QA experience gained in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Proven QA and QC experience
• 3 years of manufacturing experience
• Experience in SOP compilation
• Responsible for training: Ensure all employees across departments are fully trained on GxP and all approved SOPs relevant to their roles.
• Good computer literacy, especially Excel
• Knowledge of cGxP regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Customer-focused and detail-oriented
• Fluent in English
• Understand Afrikaans
• Assist with various QA departmental functions including:
• Internal and External Audit Administration Management
• SOPs and SOP Training Administration
• Product Quality Review
• Validations
• Change Controls
• Document Control (Specifications, Master Copies)
• Non-Conformances
• Out of Spec (OOS)
• Deviations
• Out of Trends (OOT)
• CAPAs
• Trend Management
• Pest Control
• Initiate and assist with Technical Quality Agreements
• Supplier/Service Provider Approval Process
• QMR Meeting Preparation
• BMR & BPR Administration and Review (QC & Micro)
• Sample Management
• Stability Program Liaison with IPS
• Compliance Checks
• Temperature Monitoring
• Waste Destruction
• Risk Assessments
• Printed Packaging Control
• Rework of Rejected Goods
