About the position

QA Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the highest quality of our software products. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans, identify bugs, and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues. Your contribution will be critical in delivering reliable and user-friendly software to our customers.

Test Planning and Design:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
  • Identify test requirements, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.

Test Execution:

  • Execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and communicate effectively with team members.

Automation and Tools:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Implement and manage test automation frameworks.
  • Continuously improve automated testing methodologies.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all software releases meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Prepare and present reports and metrics to stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
