About the position
We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in Salesforce to a team. As a QA Engineer specializing in Salesforce, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce platform and related integrations. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, and third-party integrations
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
- Test Execution: Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on Salesforce applications and related components. Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques to ensure the integrity and functionality of the Salesforce platform.
- Salesforce Configuration Testing: Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, process builder flows, validation rules, and other customizations to ensure they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Custom Development Testing: Test custom Apex code, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other customizations developed on the Salesforce platform.
- Integration Testing: Verify the seamless integration of Salesforce with external systems, including ERP systems, marketing automation platforms, and third-party applications. Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
- Data Management: Test data migration processes, data transformations, and data integrity within the Salesforce platform. Develop and execute data-driven testing strategies to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Performance and Scalability Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of the Salesforce platform under different load conditions. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
- Regression Testing: Develop automated regression test suites to validate Salesforce functionality across multiple releases and configurations. Execute regression tests as part of the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and report software defects using designated defect tracking tools such as Jira or Salesforce's native tools. Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a QA Engineer, with specific experience in Salesforce testing.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Proficiency in Salesforce automation tools such as Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Salesforce Lightning App Builder.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader).
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Apex testing framework, or Salesforce Test Automation Kit (STAK).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
MUST Be salesforce certified
MUST have experience in Front end and intergration testing in the banking industry
Strong knowledge of scripting and sequel
CI-CD pipeline processing knowledge and experience
