About the position
Our client is looking for a Senior QA Engineer specialising in Data Products to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced quality assurance professional with expertise in validating data pipelines, APIs, machine learning outputs, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies for enterprise data products.
- Validate data accuracy, transformations, and business rules.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Test APIs, dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Automate testing where appropriate to improve delivery efficiency.
- Identify defects, support root cause analysis, and verify resolutions.
- Contribute to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years' experience in software quality assurance.
- Experience testing enterprise data platforms and APIs.
- Strong understanding of SQL and data validation techniques.
- Experience with automated testing tools and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Advantageous
- Experience testing cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, or enterprise analytics platforms.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
- Experience with performance and load testing.
