As the Purchasing Manager, the aim of this role is to lead the procurement function. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, and oversee purchasing operations to optimize costs and efficiency

• Developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize price, quality, and delivery.
• Leading and managing the procurement team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
• Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes.
• Overseeing purchasing, contract management, and inventory control to support operational success.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to align procurement with business objectives.
• Preparing and managing budgets, reports, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification
• SAPICS / CIPS certification advantageous
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier management.
