Key Duties(Pump Assistant)
- Assist with the setup and positioning of pumps and associated equipment.
- Connect, disconnect, and secure hoses, pipes, and fittings.
- Monitor pumping operations to ensure smooth and continuous flow.
- Assist the Pump Operator during pumping activities.
- Clean pumps, hoses, and equipment after use.
- Help identify blockages, leaks, and equipment malfunctions.
- Perform basic maintenance and lubrication of pumping equipment.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and pumping accessories.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow site safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with pressure testing and inspection of hoses and fittings.
- Communicate with team members regarding operational requirements and safety concerns.
- Support emergency shutdown procedures when required.
- Complete routine housekeeping duties around the pump and worksite.
- Assist in moving and storing equipment safely.
