We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead provincial operations, translating national strategy into impactful, on-the-ground implementation. This role requires a commercially astute and politically savvy leader who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, drive multi-disciplinary programmes, and champion high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement provincial strategy aligned to national objectives
  • Drive operational efficiency and service delivery improvement across municipalities
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships across government, business, and communities
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and revenue initiatives
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Build and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Public Administration, Local Government, Economic Development or similar
  • 10+ years' senior management experience in a medium to large organisation
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex programmes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, lobbying, and advocacy capability
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy development and implementation
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
