About the position

We are recruiting for an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to take full commercial ownership of a diverse, multi-asset portfolio in the Western Cape, including industrial, retail, office, residential, and student accommodation. 

Prior experience in a similar role managing a mixed use portfolio with a strong understanding of commercial property law, lease agreements, as well as a tertiary qualification is required.
Duties of this role include:

  • Full financial management of the portfolio (budgeting, forecasting, NOI growth)
  • Drive leasing, vacancy reduction, and rental optimisation
  • Manage tenant relationships, renewals, and retention strategies
  • Oversee arrears, recoveries, and reporting to senior leadership
  • Provide oversight of facilities management, compliance, and capex projects
  • Lead and develop a Property Administrator while collaborating cross-functionally
