About the position
We are seeking a hands-on Property Manager to oversee and optimise a diverse property portfolio. This role combines operational, commercial, and compliance responsibilities, ensuring all properties are well-maintained, tenants are supported, and sites are managed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site maintenance and attend to tenant requirements.
- Schedule and manage the maintenance team; ensure timely follow-up.
- Source quotes, obtain approvals, and manage repairs or new builds.
- Negotiate leases and maintain strong tenant relationships.
- Assess viability of potential property acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and SHERQ standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and report incidents or complaints.
- Any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Matric required; certificate/diploma in Property Management advantageous.
- Experience in property management, maintenance, and construction.
- Knowledge of leasing, buying, selling of immovable property, and conveyancing processes.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transport.
- Computer literate.
- Energetic, hands-on, and able to work Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00) with 24-hour standby.
