About the position

We are a well-established property management company overseeing a portfolio of residential and / or commercial community schemes. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager / Managing Agent (Body Corporate / Homeowners Association etc) to manage multiple schemes, ensure compliance, and deliver a high standard of service to trustees / directors, owners, and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full management of complexes (Sectional Title and/or Homeowners Associations).
  • Liaison with trustees / directors, owners, managing committees, and service providers.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act, CSOS requirements, and estate rules and various others.
  • Managing budgets, levies, arrears, and financial reporting in conjunction with finance teams.
  • Overseeing maintenance, quotations, repairs, and contractor performance.
  • Preparing and attending and often leading trustee and AGM meetings, including minutes and resolutions.
  • Handling owner and resident queries, complaints, and dispute resolution professionally.
  • Ensuring valid insurance cover and compliance documentation is in place.

Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 4 or 5 qualification in Property Management or related field.
  • Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) - essential. This would give you Professional or Master property practitioner status
  • Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in property management or managing agent role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple estates or complexes.
  • Strong understanding of relevant property and related legislation.
  • Proficient in property management systems (ideally WeConnectU) and MS Office.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport (advantageous).
