The Property Administrator will provide professional, efficient and proactive administrative and property management support. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the property, maintaining positive relationships with residents, tenants, contractors and service providers, and supporting the effective management and upkeep of the building.
The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused, commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities in a professional residential environment.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage the day-to-day administrative requirements of Embassy Towers.
- Maintain accurate property, tenant, resident and contractor records.
- Prepare and distribute tenant/resident communications, notices and correspondence.
- Maintain filing systems, registers, reports and property documentation.
- Prepare regular management reports and administrative updates.
- Serve as a professional first point of contact for residents, tenants and visitors.
- Manage bookings of the boardroom, and boardroom dairy.
- Respond promptly and professionally to queries, requests and complaints.
- Log and follow up on maintenance, access and service-related issues.
- Coordinate communication between residents, the managing agent, owners and contractors.
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, access arrangements and other resident requirements.
- Promote a professional, secure and well-maintained living environment.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- A qualification in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field will be advantageous.
- 2-4 years' relevant property administration, residential property or facilities administration experience.
- Experience working with tenants, residents, contractors and service providers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Professional and confident telephone and customer-service manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
