About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and commercially driven Project Specialist - Furniture to join the team. This role combines consultative sales, project coordination, and client relationship management, with a strong focus on delivering bespoke furniture solutions across corporate and commercial environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an existing and growing new customer base while driving sales across all furniture product categories (FUR, OPTH, OPTS). A key aspect of this role includes engaging with the designer and architect community, providing specialist product knowledge, and ensuring seamless project delivery from concept through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of customers through proactive relationship management.
- Achieve sales and gross profit targets across all furniture categories.
- Engage with designers, architects, and commercial clients to identify project opportunities.
- Provide consultative advice on standard and bespoke furniture solutions.
- Coordinate projects from planning and layout design through to delivery and installation.
- Develop floor layout concepts and support presentations where required.
- Promote catalogue ranges while supporting customised product requirements.
- Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring strong after-sales support.
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and product performance.
- Ensure accurate administration, order processing, and communication with stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- 3 - 5 Years proven experience in targeted growth furniture sales, project coordination, or commercial interiors.
- Strong exposure to the designer and architect community will be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of bespoke furniture solutions and workspace environments.
- Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills with strong organisational ability with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant business systems.
