Project Planner

About the position

Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing services company, is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their team in Midrand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, WBS and critical paths.
• Coordinate project timelines, resources and workshop activities.
• Allocate and monitor staff, artisans, contractors, equipment and materials.
• Manage project tasks, timelines and reporting using ClickUp.
• Track project progress, resource utilisation and capacity.
• Identify scheduling risks, delays and bottlenecks and recommend corrective action.
• Coordinate with procurement on long-lead items and material requirements.
• Prepare project schedule, resource and progress reports for management and clients.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' project planning experience, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, mining, industrial or maintenance environments.
• Hands-on experience with ClickUp is required.
• Knowledge of WBS, Critical Path Method and Gantt Charts.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 will be advantageous.
• Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related field advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
