About the position
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our software projects. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, integrations and the complexities associated with networking, hosting, and DevOps. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate and resolve various IT-related challenges.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budge
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT professionals, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Oversee the deployment process, ensuring all environments are properly configured and maintained.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in software projects.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with networking, hosting, DevOps, and deployment processes.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex IT environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
