About the position
A company that operates as a local touchpoint for a major global freight forwarding and logistics network, helping local businesses manage the complex movement of goods across national and international borders, is seeking a PMO Project Manager end-to-end leads complex, cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives within scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Define project scope, deliverables, detailed plans, and resource allocations.
- Oversee demand management, timeline tracking, resource constraints, and overall budget execution.
- Direct testing activities, including test case formulation, validation, and sign-off.
- Facilitate requirements elicitation workshops and translate business needs into detailed specifications.
- Author Statements of Work (SOW), business cases, and project charters.
- Maintain real-time visibility across project portfolios using PMO software, dashboards, and RAID logs.
- Enforce PMO governance, stage-gate controls, policy compliance, and audit-ready documentation.
- Proactively identify, log, and mitigate risks and dependencies.
- Drive quality assurance standards, continuous improvement, and post-project benefits realization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact across internal teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
- Plan and execute communication strategies, lead project meetings, and facilitate Steering Committees.
- Lead change management, business readiness, training transition, and operational handovers.
- Coordinate across regional teams and international time zones as required.
- Manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and commercial commitments.
- Direct project closure processes, operational handovers to support teams, and post-implementation surveys.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 6+ years of IT project and program management experience delivering large-scale, complex initiatives within cost, schedule, and scope constraints.
- Methodologies: Proven expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Governance & Delivery: Strong command of PMO governance, stage-gate reviews, risk mitigation (RAID), and continuous improvement processes.
- Technical & Data Proficiency: Skilled in project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Planisware, Jira), executive dashboard reporting, and advanced data analysis.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Leadership: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences up to executive leadership. Demonstrated success managing third-party vendors.
- Independence: Proven ability to work autonomously, lead cross-functional teams, and solve complex operational challenges.
- Preferred Experience & Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent project management certifications.
