What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. The projects are IT/systems related but you do not have to have that experience. You'll take ownership of project timelines, scope, finances, and risk management while maintaining robust delivery frameworks with internal teams and external IT service partners. Your responsibilities include managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), providing professional updates to stakeholders, optimising delivery processes, and driving improvements. You'll play a critical role in supporting future business development and creating value for customers. Where you'll be doing it The company is part of a large international aviation related group and their culture is diverse and they embrace individualism. Their set up is similar to a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) type environment. While you're part of a large international and can enjoy the benefits of that, you'll be part of a smaller part of that where you'll able to connect with all employees. The company encourages a fun environment where learning is a big focus as well as employee wellness. The role will at first be full office based in town CBD during your probation period. After that, they're looking at a minimum of 2 days in office. The core business hours are 45 yours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:00 which allows for flexible working hours. We could also look at someone that would work half day or 70% but where you're still paid a full salary. What you'll need Minimum requirements is to hold a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Project Management or equivalent qualifications such as PMP or Prince2. You bring 2-5 years of hands-on experience in full lifecycle project management, showcasing your ability to lead projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise includes strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully within dynamic environments. We're not looking for someone that's predominantly worked in a big corporate. We're looking for someone that's very hands on and able to work in an environment where you'll be pretty much self managed and able to handle large and small tasks independently.
