Project Manager IT

About the position

PeopleSolved is currently recruiting for an OT/IT Project Manager for a 1 YEAR CONTRACT position within the mining industry.

Based in Centurion, must be open to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site leadership, building and motivating project teams to achieve goals and meet milestones.
• Manage full project lifecycle delivery for major and minor initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between multiple related projects and broader strategic objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, estimates, and schedules.
• Drive effective governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication on milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Oversee day-to-day project activities and resources, including team performance reviews.
• Manage project scope, changes, risks, and issues while applying industry best practices.
• Participate in feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, and proposals.
• Ensure quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support contract management and assist in dispute resolution where required.

Qualifications:

• Matric plus a relevant Degree/Diploma and a Project Management qualification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
• 8+ years' proven experience as a Project Manager.
• Registration with a relevant professional body (essential).

Skills:

• Strong OT/IT project management experience.
• Expertise in designing OT Active Directory (AD) environments.
• Proven ability to design AD infrastructure, including domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of IAM policies, procedures, and controls.
