We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site leadership for project teams by motivating and guiding members to achieve project goals, responsibilities, and milestones.
- Deliver successful project implementations from initiation to deployment, managing one major or multiple minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Oversee all aspects of related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Report on success criteria, metrics, testing, and deployment activities.
- Apply creative and analytical problem-solving, fostering teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Contribute to establishing and improving practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships.
- Prepare accurate estimates and detailed project plans across all phases.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, resources, and chair project meetings.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance through regular reviews.
- Provide clear status reporting on milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Understand interdependencies across technology, operations, and business needs.
- Ensure project scope management and handle changes effectively.
- Lead or support feasibility studies, vendor selection, and proposal evaluations.
- Drive quality assurance and participate in issue resolution.
- Support dispute resolution, negotiations, arbitration, or litigation when necessary.
- Manage schedules and contractual commitments.
Qualifications:
- Matric and a relevant Degree/Diploma with a Project Management registration/qualification (essential).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Project Manager (essential).
- Registered with a relevant professional body (essential).
- PMP or Prince2 certification (advantageous).
Skills:
- Proven track record in managing projects and deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (PMBoK/Agile/ASAP).
- Ability to build credibility, engage stakeholders, solve problems, and achieve consensus.
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and change management.
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP PPM.
- Experience with SharePoint and SAP.
