About the position
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Project Lead to manage new business projects and engineering changes from concept to industrialization. The role focuses on ensuring on-time delivery, cost control, and alignment with customer and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Project Management (Degree in Production/Operations Management an advantage)
- Certificates in APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
- Minimum 5 years' automotive experience, including 2+ years managing development projects
- Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and project lifecycle management
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead, and monitor all phases of new projects and engineering changes
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customer interfaces
- Track milestones, budgets, and timelines to ensure project success
- Lead feasibility studies, tool trials, and production readiness activities
- Manage documentation, customer communication, and reporting
- Drive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
