About the position
Step into a high-impact Project Engineer role where you will drive sustainable, turnkey mineral processing solutions across the entire project lifecycle—from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Full Lifecycle Management: Lead projects through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Multi-Disciplinary Integration: Oversee cross-functional teams across Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and C&I (Control & Instrumentation) disciplines.
- Commercial & Financial Control: Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Client Engagement & Negotiation: Manage client relationships and contract negotiations to secure seamless execution.
- Safety & Quality Standards: Enforce strict compliance with the Mine Health & Safety Act and internal quality control frameworks.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 5-9 years experience - Project Engineer within the mining industry.
- Education: BEng / BSc in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Qualifications: A formal Project Management qualification (PMP, PMBOK, etc.) is highly advantageous.
