About the position
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Implementation & Management
- Oversee the implementation and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and progress tracking reports.
- Ensure all project activities comply with client, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Provide project oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.
- Project Management Software Implementation
- Lead the selection, customization, and implementation of a Project Management Software for the client.
- Train and support staff in adopting and using the software effectively.
- Ensure proper integration of the software with existing business processes.
- Monitor and refine the system to improve efficiency and project visibility.
- Support to Engineering Teams
- Assist engineers with project management-related tasks, including resource planning and scheduling.
- Facilitate the appointment and management of subconsultants.
- Prepare and process fee claims, invoices, and financial tracking reports.
- Track project activities against the approved work schedule and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting
- Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate and chair project meetings, site visits, and progress review sessions.
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Identify and mitigate risks affecting project timelines and deliverables.
- Budget & Quality Management
- Ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in project execution.
- Monitor and track project expenses to prevent cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and engineering best practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field in build environment.
- 5+ years' experience in project management within the built environment.
- Experience in implementing and managing Project Management Software.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure project execution, contract management, and financial tracking.
- Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
