About the position

Postion Summary:
The Business Advancement Directorate seeks to appoint Project Coordinators whose key responsibilities will include

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare a wide range of high-quality documents, including programme reports, proposals, grant applications, presentations, and standard operating procedures
  • Prepare and distribute all stakeholder communications, including meeting agendas, minutes, action items, newsletters, and official correspondence
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance programme efficiency and impact
  • Serve as primary administrative contact for programme partners and participantsCoordinate all programme activities, including scheduling and resource allocationDrive communication and stakeholder liaison between all stakeholders (partners, internal teams, participants)
  • Address partner and participant inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing exceptional support
  • Provide administrative support to management team, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
  • Serve as a central information resource for the team, ensuring smooth internal communication and workflow
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, fostering a collaborative team environment

Minimum Qualification:
  • Bachelors Degree / Advanced Diploma / NQF 7

Minimum Experience:
  • 3-5 years
  • Bachelors in Degree or equivalent qualification working in universities, research councils and government (preferably Honours)Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in end-to-end project management and support

Experience:
  • Problem solving abilityAdvanced verbal and presentation skillsAdvanced written communication skillsStrategic Report writingData managementStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities

Knowledge:
  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office suiteStakeholder relationships
