My client based in Gauteng (Sandton) is currently looking for a Project Co-Ordinator to join them on an initial; 12 month contract

Role Overview
A Project Co-Ordinator is required to support the delivery of key initiatives within the Digital environment. The role will provide end-to-end support to Project Managers across the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to governance standards.
The successful candidate will support two parallel digital initiatives, with an equal allocation across a Sales Portal and an improved Self-Service platform, working closely with Digital, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of digital projects
- Track project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including status reports, RAID logs, schedules, and governance artefacts
- Coordinate project activities related to resource planning, budget tracking, and delivery timelines
- Engage with and support Digital stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Maintain accurate project data using JIRA, Confluence, PPO, and related tools
- Support Agile delivery practices, including Scrum or Kanban ceremonies where applicable
- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and SDLC standards
- Provide regular project updates and escalation support to Project Managers
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Project Co-Ordinator within a structured project environment
- 6-10 years' experience supporting projects in Financial Services (Insurance experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of project governance and project lifecycle requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting:
- Resource planning
- Budget management
- Project scheduling and reporting
- Experience or exposure to Scrum Master or Junior Project Manager responsibilities (advantageous)
- Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Agile training and experience working in Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks (advantageous)

- MS Project (or similar project planning tools)
- Microsoft Excel - Intermediate level
