Programme Coordination Support - 12 Months Contract

About the position

The company requires a temporary mid-level project coordination support resource to assist company with the coordination, tracking and stakeholder engagement activities for the development of committee deliverables by technical task teams
JOB DESCRIPTION 

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support the implementation of backlog reduction initiatives relating to committee deliverables.
• Support the development, tracking and close-out of committee deliverables (guidelines and regulations).
• Coordinate meetings, task teams, workshops and stakeholder engagements.
• Facilitate communication and follow-up between internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain progress tracking tools and provide regular status reports on committee deliverables.
• Coordinate documentation, records, presentations and committee submissions.
• Escalate delays, risks and bottlenecks affecting committee deliverables.
• Participate in committee and task team activities as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Hons degree (NQF 8) (or equivalent) in mining related qualification (e.g. Mining Engineering, Geology, Rock Engineering, Health and Safety Management, Mine environmental control disciplines, etc.) or other mine health and safety related disciplines.

• The resource must have at least four (4) years on-mine experience (working on a mine).
