About the position
We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Programme Advisor to support the growth of our Open Programmes (Corporate Education) division. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our leadership and business skill development programmes to corporate clients and individual professionals. This role is ideal for someone with a background in higher education sales who is confident in engaging with decision-makers at senior levels and is passionate about helping clients meet their learning and development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Generation
- Actively source and qualify leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Follow up on incoming leads and convert them into successful enrolments.
- Schedule and conduct client consultations to understand training needs and recommend suitable programmes.
- Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and sales activity.
Client Relationship Management
- Build positive relationships with corporate clients, HR managers, and working professionals.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the enrolment process.
- Attend industry events, expos, and client meetings to promote Open Programmes.
Administrative Support
- Assist with preparing client proposals, quotations, and enrolment documentation.
- Work closely with the academic and operations teams to ensure smooth programme delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback from clients to support the continuous improvement of sales processes and programme offerings.
Key Competencies:
- Sales Ability: Confident, persuasive, and target-driven with a proven track record in consultative selling.
- Client Engagement: Comfortable speaking to professionals at various levels, including executives and HR managers.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong listening and presentation skills.
- Organisation: Able to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and client interactions efficiently.
- Teamwork: Willing to collaborate with internal teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in higher education or training.
- Experience dealing with corporate clients and a basic understanding of the learning and development landscape.
- Technical Skills: Competency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
