About the position

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Program Manager to lead, manage, and deliver two major infrastructure migration programs: VMware Migration (Colocation Project) and the iSeries/AS400 Migration (Power 11).



Responsibilities:


  • Lead execution across Server, Network, iSeries, Cybersecurity and vendors.
  • Drive change control (CAB), cutover orchestration, testing and validation.
  • Ensure DR alignment, replication setup and performance baselining.
  • Maintain Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions register.
  • Financial tracking (budget, actuals, forecasts), vendor deliverable oversight.
  • Conformance to Clover standards (architecture, Cybersecurity, BCP/DR, Risk and Audit).
  • Entry/exit criteria for each phase and environment readiness tracking.
  • Performance testing and acceptance criteria definition.
  • Update SOPs, runbooks, diagrams, DR procedures, and Asset Lists.
  • Deliver knowledge transfer & training sessions to Clover Operations.
  • Produce Post-Implementation Review (PIR) and Program Closure Report.
  • Project Charters (VMware & iSeries).
  • Integrated Master Schedule Plan (cross-vendor).
  • RAID & Decision Logs.
  • SteerCo/ExCo packs and status dashboards.
  • VMware Migration Plan & runbooks (including rollback).
  • iSeries Migration Plan & runbooks (including rollback).
  • Pre-migration readiness and environment validation reports.
  • Application/integration dependency maps and cutover checklists.
  • DR alignment and replication validation reports.


Requirements
  • Matric and a Tertiary Degree
  • 10 years’ experience in a leadership role
  • Delivering both migrations within agreed scope, timelines and budget with minimal business disruption.
  • Align to Clover architecture, cyber security, BCM/DR and audit standards.
  • Establish unified, cross-vendor plans and reporting.
  • Ensure thorough testing, acceptance, documentation and knowledge transfer to Operations.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, decisions and dependencies via a maintained Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions RAID log.
  • Develop Project Charters and integrated plans for VMware and iSeries migrations.
  • Conduct discovery/readiness assessments, dependency and capacity analysis.
  • Define migration strategy.
