About the position
Are you a skilled Architect looking for your next career-defining opportunity? An established, design-focused firm is seeking a Professionally Registered Architect (with SACAP) to join their dynamic team on a range of high-complexity construction projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- SACAP Professional Registration (non-negotiable)
- Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience
- Must have experience in complex construction projects; experience in government health sector projects is highly advantageous
- Sound working knowledge of JBCC 6.2 Principal Building Agreement is essential; exposure to NEC 3 & 4 contracts is beneficial
- Strong command of contract documentation, including compiling and reviewing Contract Instructions & Extension of Time claims
- Capable of producing and interpreting cash flow projections (construction & PSP fees)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent formal writing skills and administrative abilities (non-negotiable)
- Able to manage teams, delegate effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in a collaborative open office environment
- PA experience considered a plus
