Professionally Qualified Quantity Surveyor
Randburg, permanent appointment, office based

Successful Architectural, Engineering and Project Management company looking for a Professional QS to join their team soonest!

Client has been productive for over 20 years, having gained excellent knowledge of and a solid reputation within the South African petroleum industry; however they do not only focus on this sector but offer design and project management services on cosntructing shopping centers, warehouses, offices, hotels and lodges.

Position highlights include:

• Provide QS Advisory and Support Service - contract collation, costing, payment certification, evaluation, and dispute resolution to meet the contract management services needs
• Perform functions and advise on QS standard services
• Draft costing estimates for contracts and projects
• Monitor consultants and contractors
• Draft, review, measure and control documentation
• Advise on the need for contract/ project modifications and revised budgets
• Reconcile and forecast contract/ project expenditure

In order to be successful in this role, you shall require:

• BTech / BSc Quantity Surveying qualification.
• Must be a Professional Quantity Surveyor registered with SACQSP.
• Min 3-5 years relevant experience in the commercial/ retail construction sector
• Hands on practical approach
• Great attention to detail
• Self-starter and independent worker
• Travel so site on occasion, once a month on average
