Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification
• SACAP registration as Professional Architectural Technologist / Professional Senior Architectural Technologist
• Strong REVIT experience
• Drivers license and own vehicle

Overview of duties

Design & Documentation

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations for retail and commercial developments.
• Translate conceptual designs into technical documentation for construction.
• Assist in the development of design solutions in line with client briefs and project requirements.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate design information across disciplines to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Attend project meetings and contribute technical input.

Technical Compliance

• Ensure all drawings comply with local building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Assist with submission of plans to local authorities for approval.
• Conduct site inspections where required to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Project Delivery

• Support the project lifecycle from concept through to completion.
• Maintain drawing registers and manage revisions/document control.
• Assist with tender documentation and construction packages.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and provide technical input.
• Address design and technical queries during project execution.

Salary Bracket
R30 000 to R40 000 pm CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
