Professional Accountant

About the position

A well-established multi-disciplinary firm of Chartered Accountants based in Cape Town, offering audit, accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base, is seeking a technically strong Professional Accountant to join their team.
This role will suit a newly qualified SAIPA trainee who enjoys client interaction, technical accounting, supervising junior staff and delivering accurate financial information.

Experience Requirements:

• SAIPA or SAICA Articles completed or similar relevant experience.
• Xero experience - essential.
• CaseWare knowledge - essential.
• Strong VAT, company and individual tax knowledge.
• Experience with Pastel Partner and Sage One.
• Proven experience preparing statutory and management accounts.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
• Strong IFRS experience.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Own reliable vehicle and driver's licence - essential.
• Must be a South African citizen currently residing in Cape Town.
• No relocations will be considered.
