About the position

A Fixed-term Contract vacancy currently exists at our organisation for a Productivity Practitioner based in KwaZulu-Natal, Region 3.

The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the implementation of business performance improvement interventions aimed at improving the operational efficiency and productivity of business enterprises deemed to be in distress or decline.

The closing date for all applications are Tuesday, the 24th August 2021 at 17:00PM (close of business).

The salary for this position will be Up to R41 100.00 CTC per month.

This is a 18 month Fixed Term Contract position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management.
• Ideal: Postgraduate qualification in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management qualification.
• At least 3 years operational business-related experience.
• Ideal: Business Process performance improvement experience in either a manufacturing or consulting environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the analysis of the business operations of client companies in order to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Apply appropriate techniques to measure and evaluate the operational performance of a business entity.
• Assist in developing recommendations and proposals to achieve business performance improvement.
• Assist in implementation of business performance improvement projects at client companies.
• Assist with the gathering and analysis of operational performance data with the view of measuring the operational impact of interventions.
