About the position
Hire Resolve client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our client in the wine industry. Our client is a well-established wine company known for their high-quality products. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the wine industry and a strong background in production supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the production team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as the cellar and bottling teams, to ensure seamless production flow.
- Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor in the wine industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of wine production processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality standards in the wine industry.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
