Production Planner

About the position

A well-established manufacturing company based in Nigel is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their team.

Key Requirements 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Production Planning role within a manufacturing environment. 

• Relevant technical or manufacturing experience is essential. 

• Experience within the textile industry will be advantageous. 

• Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills. 

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. 

• Excellent communication and coordination skills. 

• Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative approach. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of customer requirements. 

• Coordinate production activities to optimize efficiency and capacity utilization. 

• Manage production planning and logistics processes. 

• Monitor inventory and material availability to support production requirements. 

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications and company procedures. 

• Liaise with production, procurement, quality and logistics departments to ensure smooth operations. 

• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions where necessary. 

• Provide regular planning reports and updates to management.
