About the position
Are you a detail-driven Production Planner ready for your next career-defining move? Our client, a well-established player in the fast-moving consumer goods space, is looking for a capable and motivated individual to take ownership of their production planning processes in Cape Town.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production planning role within manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data formatting)
- Understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP) and supply chain workflows
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with MRP systems (advantageous)
Qualifications:- Tertiary qualification in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Candidates without formal qualifications but with solid relevant experience will also be considered
