About the position
A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their production team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for technically skilled individuals who are hands-on, safety-conscious, and accustomed to working in fast-paced production environments.
Matric (Grade 12), Technical qualification or trade certificate (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or similar), Minimum of 2 years’ proven machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment are essential skills required to qualify for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure consistent output
- Conducting machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are strictly followed
- Capturing production data and completing required documentation
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet targets
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Technical qualification or trade certificate
(Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or similar)
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety standards
- Ability to work shifts and meet production deadlines
Desirable
- FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
