About the position
REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Production Management or Mechanical/ Electrical
Engineering - Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Production Management, ideally within a body builder
operation - Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing system principles
- Working knowledge of applicable labour and OCHSA regulations/ laws
- Effective leadership skills
- Organizational and excellent communication skills
- Time management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and motivate the production teams to achieve performance targets
- Managing the manufacturing/ fabrication processes
- Ensuring that body applications are built following specifications, meeting regulatory and
customer requirements - Achieving the production schedule, quality and cost targets
- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with SHE/ OHCSA
