About the position

Vacancy for the abovementioned required at fruit processor. This candidate will be required to run a continuous production process during peak periods and ensure that quality standards are maintained whilst meeting production targets, this will include the minimisation of downtime. Responsibilities:
Ensure, monitor and manage water, air and steam to produce a quality product as per instruction.
Ensure the proper working of all machinery.
Ensure that all waste is handled according to specifications.
Ensure, monitor and control packaging material as specified for different products.
Continuous monitoring of all machines and equipment to identify malfunctions in order to prevent production stoppages.
Ensure, monitor, control and document CIP procedures as specified.
Ensure good manufacturing procedures and complete the necessary documentation as specified.
During the off-season, this job also entails, but is not limited to, any other work in the Company.

Requirements:
Read and write - Grade 12 with Maths and Science
Computer Literate (Excel, Word).
Basic maintenance on machine pumps
Basic technical knowledge of the equipment in a food manufacturing facility.
Knowledge of basic quality test and factors influencing the quality of product.
