About the position

Well established company in Malelane has a vacancy for a Production Foreman in the fruit processing industry, who will work on a 3 shift system - during peak season it will be 7 days/week. This candidate will ensure that product is processed as per plan, that the equipment is in working order to meet the output requirement and that quality standards are maintained continuously. Responsibilities:
Ensure, monitor and manage water, air and steam to produce a quality product as per instruction.
Ensure the proper working of all machines (Evaporators, Aseptic Machine, Oil Operator, FMC Operator, Oil Recovery Plant, Cell Recovery Plant, Seals and Pasteurizer) to produce a quality product as per instruction.
Ensure that all waste is handled according to specifications.
Ensure, monitor and control packaging material as specified for different products.
Continuous monitoring of all machines and equipment to identify malfunctions in order to prevent production stoppages.
Ensure, monitor, control and document CIP procedures as specified.
Ensure good manufacturing procedures and complete the necessary documentation as specified.
Adhere to the Disciplinary Code and Procedures.
During the off-season, this job also entails, but is not limited to, any other work in the Company.

Requirements:
Grade 12 with Maths and Science
Computer Literate (Excel, Word).
Basic maintenance on machine pumps
Basic technical knowledge of the equipment in the Plant.
