About the position
The Production Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the sheet metal fabrication production process. This includes managing schedules, tracking stock, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting. You will provide expert administrative support to the entire production team. This role is an important part of the smooth operation of the factory. Duties include a mix of activities from purchasing goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply, placing orders, handling customer enquiries, compiling customer quotations, maintaining certain stock levels, updating the ERP system, generating production reports, answering telephone calls and receiving walk-in customers and guests.
